Taos Gilders has been creating unique frames since 1988 and continues to offer the artist or connoisseur individual consultation to meet the needs your artwork deserves.

Employing the same fine craftsmanship and Old World techniques each frame is individually milled, carved and then gilded. Resulting in nothing less than a quality frame.

Once spoilt by the gentle glow of 22 karat gold, hand burnished to perfection, or the soft luster of aged patina, matched only by that found on a renaissance frame, you have stepped into our world of framing.

METAL LEAF FRAMES
Also called composition lead. It is an alternative application involving oil gilding. It is available in several colors and can be applied to almost any profile we create. The end result is a beautiful timeless frame.

COMPLETE FRAME SHOP
In addition to our hand crafted frames, we offer commercial mouldings, liners, lamination, shrink wrap, silks, linens, matting and much more.

IMITATIONS
Yes, you can find less expensive reproductions. But if you think you are the only one who will know, think again.
